I’m wondering if there are any maximum size requirements when shipping T-slots from some providers?
I know with Parco Inc they ship with UPS or freight depending on the size of the extrusions.
Anything over 92″ goes freight. Shipping times are all dependant upon whether they have it on hand, and of course whether or not you require design service, machining, etc.
When it comes to extrusions you have to remember there is the packaging on top and bottom so I think 92″ is likely the extrusion cut-off size before the surcharge kicks in.
From UPS –
“For domestic shipments, a package is considered a “Large Package” when its length (longest side of the package) plus girth [(2 x width) + (2 x height)] combined exceeds 130 inc
