Solar Panels are usually installed in open ground or in roof tops. Solar Panels are already heavy and when using iron or steel mounts for the panels increases load on the roof tops. This load can be reduced by using T-Slot aluminum mounts which is light and is very durable compared to iron or steel mounts.

T-slot aluminum extrusion would provide durability to the structure. Aluminum has a higher temperature resistance compared to iron and steel. This makes aluminum t-slot a better option I think for solar farms.
