Do you think T-slotted Aluminum framing saves you money in the long run?
July 6, 2021 at 5:59 am #4210AlfonsMachineParticipantAluminum extrusions and other parts do not rust and hence we never have to replace them and obviously will be saving money in the long run.

This is not required in T-slot aluminum structures. Not only that installation of these structures are not labor-intensive and that is also a cost saving factor.
July 7, 2021 at 7:02 am #4452KDalton-mechParticipantMoney is saved due to low maintenance against corrosion and low labor cost for assembling the structure.
July 8, 2021 at 1:45 am #4518MilesCantonParticipantWith the low maintenance fees, if you’re using it for a long time you save a lot in the long run.
July 10, 2021 at 9:13 am #4561JohnMarkusParticipantDefinitely. Aluminium is almost always the way to go
July 10, 2021 at 9:39 am #4573foster-aluminumParticipantT-slot lasts longer since it does not corrode, which in the long term saves money. Everyone complains it’s more expensive but over time it really pays for itself.
July 18, 2021 at 6:56 am #4771Gianni-MachineParticipantSince t-slot is made of high-quality aluminum, it probably has more tensile strength when compared to iron and steel. T-slot framing systems can last for years because it’s anticorrosive. In the long term, it can save money due to it being so modular. Iron and steel cannot be changed up the way t-slot can that’s for sure.
