A general question I’d like to put out there, in your lifetime has t-slot failed you?
I love t-slot. I constantly use them, even re-purpose them. I have yet to have any issues with the material or any of the hardware.
You have be a beast to break a T-Slot, very durable didn’t know it could be broken till now.
I have had none as I always buy the series suggested by the manufacturer.
I have basic XY assembly drill. Was using the assembly without cleaning the chips and they accumulated in the extrusion cavity. With the build-up in the channel, the movement became rough. But no, I have never had it break or bend on me.
I have been doing just basic builds, so I have not experienced any issues. With deflection calculators and free CAD software out there, its not likely to break profiles.
