I was looking at making some solar panel frames to sit on the roof of my cabin. Has anyone tried this with the T-slots?
Solar Panels need to be framed to be durable. T-slot aluminum frames provide good fit and sturdiness to the structure. The Solar panels have to with stand lot of wind current when installed in the roof top. Aluminum frame provides great support with a reduced load on the roof.
wow, didn’t know they use T-Slots to support solar panels. Good information. Thank You.
T-Slots can be used to create a good support for the solar panels. As it’s smooth and light weight doesn’t cause any damage to the solar panels.
Sounds like something that would be simple to do. You can go to Parco-inc or another online store, get the exact lengths you need and a few connectors and you are in business.
