Are T-slotted framing structures strong enough to withstand everyday load and usage?
July 6, 2021 at 6:10 am #4211AlfonsMachineParticipantIt is used on military combat vehicles, airliners and trucks to name a few and so it is definitely tough enough to withstand pressures.
July 6, 2021 at 10:08 am #4220Andrew.MasonParticipantT-slotted Aluminum structures are very light compared to steel but definitely strong and it is the most effective thermal conductor. .
July 7, 2021 at 7:16 am #4453KDalton-mechParticipantStrength-to-weight ratio of Aluminum is better than that of steel. Aluminum is one-third the weight of steel and about twice stronger than steel at the same weight.
July 8, 2021 at 2:02 am #4520MilesCantonParticipantThat’s honestly one of the best things about it.
July 10, 2021 at 9:10 am #4559JohnMarkusParticipantYes I know Aluminium has a rep for not being as strong, but trust me they are. They should suit almost any project.
July 10, 2021 at 9:47 am #4575foster-aluminumParticipantT-Slots are manufactured with high quality aluminium. It has great tensile strength, that makes it highly durable.
July 16, 2021 at 4:38 pm #4756Gianni-MachineParticipantIn spite of them being so lightweight, t-slot is very durable and capable of bearing a lot of stress. The entire structure is connected securely with fasteners and makes for a strong structure.
