Do you think aluminum is the new steel in the automobile industry?
High end cars such as Jaguar cars are creating their car frame using Aluminium. Since, it is light weight and has great tensile strength.
The flight body is completely made up of aluminum. Car manufactures are incorporating aluminum in their design, as aluminum is light weight and gives good strength to weight ratio. Electric vehicles mainly focus on aluminum structure as the load decreases the range and performance provided by these vehicles increase drastically.
Aluminum handling is easy compared to that of iron and steel, as it is light weight. Hence load of the total build can be reduced.
Yes, definitely we are already seeing the widespread industrial application of aluminum and its foray into the domestic market too.
